Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 T butter
  • 1 c dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c corn syrup
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 c pecans, toasted and chopped

Instructions

  1. melt butter in pot, remove from heat and let cool
  2. mix in sugar and salt
  3. beat in eggs, then corn syrup and vanilla
  4. return pot to stove and heat to 130°F
  5. remove to heat and stir in pecans
  6. pour into par-baked baking shell
  7. Bake at 275°F 50-60 minutes until set let gelatin
