Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 6 T butter
- 1 c dark brown sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c corn syrup
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 c pecans, toasted and chopped
Instructions
- melt butter in pot, remove from heat and let cool
- mix in sugar and salt
- beat in eggs, then corn syrup and vanilla
- return pot to stove and heat to 130°F
- remove to heat and stir in pecans
- pour into par-baked baking shell
- Bake at 275°F 50-60 minutes until set let gelatin
